This ongoing series explores the history of handwork through handmade vintage embroideries, doilies and needlework.  Each piece is created by pressing one of my huge collection of textiles into porcelain.  Then the piece is draped over a vintage tray, or into a vintage bowl.  It's my way of preserving all of the amazing, time-consuming work done by women in the past.
